Topshop Unique is always my favourite show at London Fashion Week. I am always very excited for it as I love seeing a high street brand make it to the catwalk showing off their latest creations.

This year the Topshop show was held inside the Tate Britain with its vintage interior setting the theme for this distinguished collection. As soon as the models set foot on the catwalk the colour palette certainly emphasised Autumnal tones and feelings. You can feel the leaves falling off the trees just by looking at the fluffy coats instantly making you want to cosy up by the fire.

Winter fabrics were the key pieces in this show with it included a variety of different types from faux fur jackets of short, long and mid length, velvet, leather and wool. All the fabrics I will be looking out for next season. These were layered over bralettes and slinky dresses. My favourite look being the leather trousers, block heels with a houndstooth jacket over the top of the bralette, I love how sophisticated yet sexy this looks and would be great to create for a cold night out.

Boots are my favourite type of shoe to wear during the AW as they make any outfit look that bit more exciting with this collection featuring high ankle boots and also the alternative of heels for a evening look.

Therefore, you can clearly see that Topshop took on the British winter girl look but made it their own with low necklines, brave outfits and also all the autumnal colours you could possibly need from tan, black and khaki.

What do you think of this collection?
