CORFU HOLIDAY DIARY: Day 5 & 6

Wednesday, June 22, 2016

Relaxing by the pool was one of our favourite things to do after having a busy day the day before. Most of day 5 was spent by the pool soaking up as much sun as we could to get a tan, although a few of us did burn a tiny bit. For a change as we knew we were going to Sidari in the evening we decided to grab a quick dinner by the pool so I had a ham and cheese toastie with a side of chips, I didn't expect too much from it but it did fill me up.

Once dinner was over we all headed back to the rooms to get ready. We went to Sidari by coach which took only about 15 mins. Sidari was another little town near Roda which had a few more shops and a bit livelier bars. We bought some more gifts for our family and friends then went to a club (which was empty) called Caesars where we had some cocktails, shots and watched the sunset.

Again, we went off to Corfu town but this time by boat where we set off from Kassiopi. I enjoyed going by boat as you were able to see a few more sites from the sea which was extremely blue and not so wavey which was good. Although if you were going on the night boat (we changed our minds about doing this) you would have got soaked and quite cold coming back. Our mission in Corfu town on this day was to head to Sephora where we all picked up the Make-up forever HD foundation, I'm sure you will see that appear on my blog very soon. Once we had our purchases we took some more pictures and went down to a little private beach area to sunbathe.

After arriving back from Corfu we had a little rest then went off to Alexandros for dinner. I had the same pasta as I did at lunch the other day although this sadly wasn't as nice so wouldn't recommend this restaurant to you. However, they did have a nice roof top where you could eat and look out to sea.

The last day of my holiday diary is coming tomorrow!
