HUBBOX TRURO RESTAURANT REVIEW

Wednesday, August 31, 2016

When I visited Cornwall with my family we spent a day in Truro looking around, doing a bit of shopping and went for some lunch. Thats when we stumbled across Hubbox, this restaurant I believe is dedicated to the Cornwall area as it just has a few dotted around in a few locations. So if you are ever down there do take a look as the food is amazing.

This particular restaurant was in an old Church with amazing vibrant decor giving it a laid back, American feel. We were greeted by some really friendly staff who actually looked like they enjoyed working there. As it was busy we came back about half an hour later and was seated upstairs where we then ordered our drinks. Even though it was extremely busy the service was still as quick as any other day you would expect. They offered a wide range of drinks but I stuck with the classic fresh orange juice which was very refreshing.

Hubbox specialise in American diner style food so their menu is filled with hot dogs, burgers, pork and beef. For my meal I opted for a cheeseburger and chips, as you can see below it was presented well and tasted as good as it looks. The burger was cooked perfectly, didn't taste plain at all and the fries were crispy, probably some of the nicest I've tasted. For the quality of food you get I highly recommend going as the staff were super helpful and the food was amazing.
